With this design I really wanted to emphasize what Extra Life means to me; it’s a nexus for building, nurturing, and coming together to do something wonderful. I wanted this to be a celebration of the community, collaboration, and diversity that Extra Life enables.

Having been involved with our local Extra Life guild for a number of years, the thing that’s struck me most is the passion and brilliance of my fellow Extra Lifers – everyone has something unique to offer, be it a hobby to share or a skill to fundraise with or even a different way of looking at the world. And though we all walk our own path in life, through fundraising we’re able to come together, grow, and share in our passions while furthering a great cause.

To me, Extra Life is a sort of blueprint for enabling these communities to spring to life, and that’s what I hope to capture here.
